After a year of isolation, join us for an escape from your lives as you connect to the wonder and mysteries of Shakespeare, Sondheim, and fairytale.

Auerfarm is located at 158 Auer Farm Road | Bloomfield, CT 06002
Beatrice Fox Auerbach took over Auerfarm in 1927 and managed the farm successfully for forty years, during which it became a prominent location and supporter of 4-H. In 1976, the Auerfarm heirs decided to honor Beatrice’s dedication to the importance of 4-H by giving the farm to 4-H with an agreement to maintain the property and provide community resources where children and families could learn about and enjoy the ambiance of the farm. Today, Auerfarm’s 4-H learning Center attracts and educates young people and their families about agriculture and farm animals, while connecting with their mentors and peers.

Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc. and Auerfarm began their collaboration in summer of 2020 out of necessity. Auerfarm, nestled on 120 gorgeous acres in Bloomfield, CT, became an exciting venue for Playhouse’s theatre events after COVID-19 forced the theatre’s doors to close. As the organizations got to know one another, a core value between them became apparent: a desire to educate and engage audiences and visitors in the world around them.
